Cardio before breakfast any good for burning fat?

I just want to lose fat. I want to avoid losing muscle at all costs. Also, its about a 40 min jog. Should I have a redbull or gatorade before it?

There's no harm in working out before breakfast, but the energy from food would give you a better and more productive workout. It's best to work out an hour after eating. A banana alone provides enough energy for a 90 minute workout!
PS If you're trying to lose weight, cut out redbull, gatorade and any other sugary "faux-healthy" drinks. It's nothing but additives and empty calories. Water is enough to keep you hydrated.

You will lose muscle so you will want to lift weights, and exercising before breakfast, well it depends on you, i used to do that, but then eventually I get tired since I have carbs/fuel in me so I eat a banana or a snack before exercising. Dont drink neither, drink water, redbull has caffeine and your heart rat is already up when exercising, they both have sugar and crap you dont need.
