Help! Dizziness After Standing Up?

Okay so I'm 13 years old and every single time I stand up from either laying down or just sitting my vision fades to black and I feel like I'm about to pass out. This has been happening to me for over a year now and I don't know what it is! Is this normal?

This is called orthostatic hypotension, which means your blood pressure drops when you change positions too quickly. It's scary but not dangerous. It's been happening to me for the past 10 years and I've never fainted or anything in my life. Just try and move more slowly when you're getting out of bed and don't stand up in a rush.

It's a sign of low blood pressure it happens to me occasionally. Go see the Dr if you're worried or if you actually pass out.

Not a DR.

You are having a drop in blood pressure. This is what happens when you get up too fast from a sitting or lying position. Next time get up slowly.
Discuss this with your doctor.

Hmm i'd just suspect it as blood rushing from your brain down or from your body up.
