Calculate the amount of energy released when 5.00 kg of propane is burned using the provided information
MW(C3H8C3H8) = 44.1 g/mol

ΔHcomb= -2220 kJ/mol

C3H8(g)+O2(g) → CO2(g) +H2O(l)

No. of moles of C₃H₈ burned = (5.00 × 1000 g) / (44.1 g/mol) = 113.4 mol

Amount of heat released = (2220 kJ/mol) × (113.4 mol) = 252000 kJ
