Induction charging, basically, there are 2 parallel coils of wire, one coil has a current running through it, which generates a magnetic field, the 2nd coil is inside the magnetic field produced by the first, which generates current in the 2nd coil.

It's not quite this simple, but this is the basic principle of induction.

Basically its through induction. 2 surfaces compatible touching each other to give the signal to produce the charge.

Though what we consider wireless charging isn't exactly truly wireless.

Induction.

An electromagnetic field in the charger
sets up a similar field in the device.
