Can I reapply to the same university again with a better SAT score?

I would like to apply to the University of Pittsburgh for engineeering, I have a 3.9 wgpa, and got a 1280/1600 on the new SAT with little preparation. I also have tons of extra curriculars. There's a pretty shot of me getting in (my counselor never seemed worried) especially if I apply early, but let's say I don't. I plan to take the SAT again in october and I'm shooting for a 1350. Can I reapply with a better score, or should I just wait until after I take it again to apply? The only reason I'm hesitant to wait is that by the time I actually get my score back I'd be cutting it pretty close. Plus, the earlier you apply the better your chances of getting accepted.

if you apply early and get deferred (denied early admission but placed into regular decision pool), the school will encourage you to resend updated scores for the SAT or ACT.

Please talk direct to admissions for facts!!

You should be able to just send in your new scores. ASK admissions about sending in a scored October test score. You would not be re applying

you won't even be applying for the FIRST TIME until at LEAST NOVEMBER - you DON'T apply more than once to ANY college
