Ambiguity tolerance and need for closure?

Academically, my low tolerance for ambiguity and need for closure are destroying my ability to learn. I always need some sort of verification that I've really got the gist of something otherwise my mind filters things out and it's destroying my life. Can anybody recommend ANY methods to improve my tolerance for it or could any of you recommend any literature or quote me any literature? I really need help with this badly. thanks.
