Hello I wonder what object can effect signal strength on Wi-fi networks.

Can dust effects signal strength?

Dust can not. Electrical equipment, metal objects, building materials, furniture and people can.

Any physical barrier (wall, window, floor) will degrade the signal. Concrete/brick walls will kill it. Electro Magnetic Interference will hurt it too. EMI is put off by anything electrical, the worst culprit as cordless telephones which use the same base frequency as wifi.

Not really. Concrete Walls and floors with Steel reo. effects signal strength.

Any obscruction or distance can really make the signal strength lower. If your router is on one side of the house, and has to pass through multiple brick walls, or if you're using smooching from a wi-fi a few houses down, it will really impact how strong the signal strength is.

No, dust cannot effect, dust is just particles, in the same way as air is particles. If air doesn't obstruct it, why would something significantly small and harmless do any damage?

Hope I helped.

Usually it's distance from an internet router that causes wi-fi strength to be either stronger or weaker. The closer you are, the more powerful the signal. The farther away, the weaker. Dust wouldn't affect your signal.

Microwaves, cell phones, tablets, laptops, walls
