You often use (very much) at end of a clause:-eg:-
Do you play video game much?I don't much like playing video game at home.I don't like playing video game at home much.
Much is uncountable:-eg:-Did you get very much video game played?.. How much videogame do you play?
So much, as much, much more, and too much(as you said), are often used in positive contexts with verbs and uncountable nouns.
too much:-eg:-She played too much.
I used to play videogame so much I am tired of them. After playing the game,you try to relax as much as possible.We'll need much more money than that to build "One Belt One Road".
(Very) much is used with adj. before more and too eg:-This is much more/ too difficult----can't use (Very)
It is used:-eg:-I am very sorry.------can't use I am much sorry, Or I am sorry very much.
With some verbs with general meaning "like" very much can be used before a verb common here:-eg:-He very much enjoys playing video game.(NOT He enjoys very much playing....) I love Mary very much.
