Would vanishing for a while help?

I have a lady friend she has decided that she just wants to be friends, I'm not sure i can do it... Would dissappearing for a while help my case? I mean would she miss me and that? How long should I go for?

you dont vanish thats really immature ---- she is not interested in you romantically and nothing you do can change that ---- why not accept it remain friends and look elsewhere for romance
