how do you stop masturbating prone (girls)?

this is pretty embarassing but for roughly 2 years I've been masturbatung and I only recently realized I was going at it in "prone". apparently this is more common in men but I do it do and I recently realized that I can't orgasm any other way. what I do is lie on my Bed and essentially rock on my clit until I come. I can come in about 2-5 minutes this way, but I've tried fingering myself and rubbing myself myself while lying on my back and while they both feel good, I can never climax this way. it feels like I'm going to but then the high just goes away and I don't climax. I've been reading Reddit forums about people with similar situations but they differ in that they're having difficulty climaxing in actual sex, while I'm a virgin and I'm jut anxious that I'll have difficulties having actual partner sex in the future. I don't know how to approach this problem. I'm thinking about either really trying to come in different positions, but maybe I just need to stop masturbating for a while and then start up again using a completely different technique. is 2 years of prone masturbation long enough to make it really difficult to reprogram myself? I'm 16 and have been maxturbating since I was 14, and this method just kind of came naturally to me (no pun indented, lol) and I didn't know it was bad until now.
