I'm two years from getting a vehicle. What should I get?
I know is going to be a while but my parents will pitch in some cash, I really want a motorcycle, mainly because they're tank is smaller, which means I will fill it up more but not as much money. Anyone let me know if I should get a motorcycle, or if I should have a car for the first vehicle. And what kind of car/truck/motorcycle I should get. Thank you

how much money do you plan on spending? anyways, id get a truck
The driving skills for a motorcycle are not the same as the skills to drive a car. Driving a bike is more challenging, so for a young driver, the best choice is an actual car.
Without knowing what your budget will be, no one can offer you any specific choices. Go do your research about cars, and the car buying process, such as in the car issues of Consumers Reports.
Get one that will last for at least 2 years, but isn't very nice. This is your first car after all. Also make sure that you can use it whenever you need. This means make sure it will work all year long, winter to summer.
Look at the repair rates, the safety ratings, and the mpg. Keep to the tried and true. Toyotas are good. I have had several and never had a bad one.
A new driver should stay away from the cars that go varoom! The temptation to speed is huge and you don't want to wake up as part of a tree that you hit.
If you will be taking friends around, get a sedan with four doors.
Do your research first and stay away from Cheerful Charlie's Used Car Lot-We Finance Everyone! They sure do. Make sure you understand interest rates.
