My mom thinks I'm lying when I'm not?

Ok long story short, I was watching a movie last night then I went straight to bed. When I wake up there junk food all over the floor and I have no idea where it came from. I never touched it. My mom came in and punished me. I told her I didn't touch it and she was even more mad. I Tryed sitting down with her and that didn't work. Any help where I can convince her I'm not lying? I'll admit I have told small lies here and there that were not worth it. (I have not had history with sleep walking)

Maybe you have a ghost. In the 23 years we've been married my husband never knows anything. "I didn't see it" is the first response. "I didn't do it" ...*shaking head*. There could be an elephant in our living room, and he didn't notice it, nor did he have anything to do with it. I know this is not what you wanted to read, but if you knew us you'd be laughing. Is it possible a sibling did it? Or Dad, they never admit to anything. I hope you can find a way to talk with your mom. I know how frustrating something like this can be. One of my biggest issues is being blamed for something I did not do. I'll fight to the end. Don't do that with your mom though. Best wishes.
