It depends on what exactly you are taking.
Usually, bookstores, in their own discretion, will allow photograph so long the photograph is used for future transactions (i.e. you are buying for others and using the photographs to show what are intended to purchase).
Other than that, bookstores will not allow and can ask you to leave.
Beside - it is against the law to copy the content of any copyrighted materials without authorization.
