Xbox One now? Or wait for Project Scorpion?
I have had a PS4 for a while now, and I want to upgrade it to an Xbox One. But I'm not too sure if I want to get an Xbox One right now since there's a new console that will come out, and essentially be better. I can tell by the reviews that Scorpio is going to be pricy. But the question is, will Scorpio and Xbox one be completely different platforms? Or will it have the same servers and all that? Like the Xbox 360 and Xbox One have different servers and idk what. So tell me, which one is most worth buying?

xbox one S buy it now, since ur gonna be missing out on a bunch of good games like skyrim remastered that will have mods on release date, project scorpion won't release till next year and 3 years after that they may make a new xbox buy now trust me. but buy the slim version thats releasing in august
i recommend waiting until scorpio, it will be worth the price. it will still operate on the same servers and all that. the only difference is thats its suppose to be 5x more powerful than the original xbox one.
They left it pretty vague.
Microsoft only stated that all XBO games and accessories will work on "Scorpio" (Wii U makes the same claims in regards to Wii, so that's not all that shocking).
but what they don't say is if this is a "next generation" where it will have games for Scorpio that won't work on XBO, or if it's a "mid-generation" where games will still work, but maybe work better on the Scorpio (think New 3DS vs. original 3DS for an example of a mid-generational upgrade).
Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox Scorpio will have the same servers. Phil Spencer - head of Xbox, said no game will only be exclusive to the Scorpio model, so all games can work on all Xbox One devices.
Xbox One has backwards compatibility to select xbox 360 games. you can find the official list on xbox.com/backcompat And, if the 360 game is listed, you can play the game on xbox one, and online with players on 360, as they use the same online server.
xbox live uses the same server across all consoles. if the game becomes available on xbox one, it doesn't matter which console you use then.
Xbox Scorpio is really only good if you have a 4K TV. while it may run faster and smoother, you won't get the best visual upgrades if you had a 4K TV. I would aim to save for around $500 minimum for the Xbox Scorpio, similar to the original price point of the Xbox One.
If you have a PS4 why would you not wait until the Scorpion comes out ? It will still use the same games and servers.
One PS & One would be the same in that regard. One PS would be the better one.
