If you could tell me how you solved them (what equations you used), I'd be really grateful. Thank you! :)

The pressure of sulfur dioxide at 25°C increases from 0.500 atm to 1.00 atm. What is the final Celsius temperature if the volume remains constant?
A. -124°C
B. 596°C
C. 149°C
D. 323°C

A sample of air at 7.50 atm is heated from 250K to 500K. If the volume remains constant, what is the final pressure?
A. 7.50 atm
B. 10.0 atm
C. 15.0 atm
D. 3.75 atm
I know they
re both gas laws, but I'm not sure how to do them...thank you again.

1.
For a fixed amount of gas under constant volume :
P₁/T₁ = P₂/T₂

(0.500 atm) / [(273 + 25) K] = (1.00 atm) / T₂
Final temperature, T₂ = (298 K) × (1.00/0.500) = 596 K = (596 - 273)°C = 323°C

...... The answer is : D. 323°C

2.
For a fixed amount of gas under constant volume :
P₁/T₁ = P₂/T₂

(7.50 atm) / (250 K) = P₂ / (500 K)
Final pressure, P₂ = (7.50 atm) × (500/250) = 15.0 atm

...... The answer is : C. 15 atm
