Is the "never hit a woman" thing real? What if someone was attacked by a female? Do they just sit there and get beat up?

You have a legal right to defend yourself, up to and including deadly force. Now, that being said, the "never hit a woman thing" means you never start a physical fight with a woman. And in most cases, a male can subdue a female without need for a "hit". Now with all that explained, if a female starts pounding on you, you better do whatever is reasonably necessary to protect yourself.

You should never raise your hands to a woman.....................it leaves your groin unprotected.

Legally, you are allowed to defend yourself, but usually it's a lot better to just walk away.

It isn't real in a legal sense. You can defend yourself from a woman the same as a man.

Then you get up and run. Really there is more than one way to handle a situation.
I've never heard of a woman not drunk or high attacking a man. First point would be to not hang with women who do that. Second would be to get out. Third would be to restrain. That gives you choices, men are usually bigger and stronger, hitting women is going to lead to more damage than if a woman hits a man.

The "never hit a woman" thiing is only from people that have never been attacked by a nut job maniac woman. If you're getting punched by a woman feel free to fight back.
They wanted equality.
