Would this turn the frosting into chocolate frosting?

My recipe for 'normal', 'regular' vanilla frosting is:
one up of milk
one tub of cool whip
one teaspoon of vanilla extract
one package of vanilla Jell-o pudding mix

If I take out the vanilla extract and vanilla pudding mix, and put in chocolate pudding mix, would the frosting be chocolate-flavored ? Thanks

更新1:

It's not pudding, like actual pudding, haha. It's pudding mix, as in powder.

Yes but it would not have a strong chocolate flavor. I would use a bit of cocoa powder or add some melted and cooled chocolate.

leave the vanilla extract and use the chocolate pudding.

Yes, I do that with my frosting. Try adding a tsp of cocoa powder too

It would be called chocolate pudding, not frosting.

It would be chocolate flavored, but leave the vanilla in, it works well with chocolate and gives it a good flavor.
