Please help me... (family issues)?

I am currently in a situation where family is split up to two because our family doesn't get along. Something happened, I don't know. My uncle/god father is on the "other side" and I want to let him know that I miss him -- but my parents won't let me. They don't want to cause trouble. It is so painful knowing that I can't see my cousins/uncles/aunts...etc. (btw I am 14 years old, so that makes it hard too).

Time heals many wounds. If things don't cool down soon talk to your parents about this. Let them know how much you love and miss your relatives and ask their permission to call or write to them. Maybe they'll also realize how much they love them too! Good luck!

honestly. in my family. the conflict last for decades. no real answer for you but to hold dear to what you love. when you become an adult you can make your own choice. human frailty is to deal with all the garbage that comes in the family dynamic, good and bad.

Be bold and just talk to them. Make sure your parents don't know and start talking to them if it doesn't work out then it doesn't work out.
