Love it, but seldom cook it. It splatters so and makes a mess. I do eat it when I go to IHOP along with buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup. YUMMY.

We only ever have bacon at Christmas in our house. Reason being we are both children of the London Blitz when everything was strictly rationed and bacon was only available occasionally so we never bothered with it then and not all that much now.

Bacon is one of my favorite weird flavors, and it's so simple. It's just brined and then sometimes smoked. Bacon carries with it a salty sweet fat flavor to a dish. It's good by itself too. I like mine crispy. Bacon wrapped grilled scallops are like the coolest thing I've ever experienced. And, again, simple. Bacon on burgers, bacon on eggs, bacon on salad, bacon on ice cream, hell bacon off your nipples. It will always be good. You have to be a female for the nipple thing though. Gosh, I apologize Larry the Cable Guy. That sounds like something you would say.
