My 50 pound daughter drank bottle of liquid children's Tylenol but poison control said she will be fine. Should I still be worried?

But I'm still scared. Is there still risk of liver damage?

Sunday morning at 8am my daughter snuck into some children's Tylenol drinking all 4 ounces of it other than 2 teaspoons that was left and 6 teaspoons that she had taken within the last 24 hours in regular therapeutical doses.

So pretty much within those 24 hours she had the whole bottle other than 12ml (2 teaspoons

I called poison control TWICE and both ladies said that at 50 pounds my daughter would be fine. They said they wouldn't even gave me go to the hospital even if she drank the whole entire bottle. They promised me there was NO risk of liver failure but I'm still scared. Almost 2 days later I'm still scared that my daughters liver is going to be damaged any minute now even though she never had any symptoms, not even a tummy ache.

Is there still reason to worry or can I relax now? Is poison control usually correct?

Poison control has staff that are certified to be trained with some medical attention. I would trust them, but if you are still worried you can always talk to a doctor. I mean I wouldn't doubt them since if you are calling poison control you should be talking to certified medical staff that know enough knowledge about minor situations. At least that is what I would hope.

If you're really worried you should just go to the hospital and check with nurses/doctors and see what they say about it. I hope your daughter is doing well! ♥
