Why is wood used to make table and chairs?

Wood is a renewable resource that is easy to work with, inexpensive, beautiful, and will last for decades.

We use woods for making table and chairs. It is best way because woods increases the beauty and value of things instead of other material such as iron, steel and plastic etc.

In my opinion, it is because wood is easy to work with by using ordinary tools; also lighter to move while making furniture such as tables, chairs,beds, desks, etc.; and is cheaper as compared with steel, marble,etc.

I think maybe because, it feels warmer to use during winter (than a metallic chair or etc) and cooler during summer.

its sturdy and relatively light, heavy enough not to get thrown around like a plastic table would. looks better too.... ive seen several metal/glass tables too, materials r a lot more expensive for that
