Hi I am a teen that has to share a room with a toddler and would like to be able to read at night, but he has to sleep. What should i do?

I've been in the same boat. What I did, was I bought myself a book light and hid under my covers so it wasn't as bright. My sibling slept just fine. Or if you're wanting to read on your phone/kindle then just do the same thing, or, turn down your brightness. It would be just like a night light. I'd probably wait till the toddler was asleep though, because then it could be distracting.
Much love, Madie.
Get a reading lap or a clipon night reading light.
Tell your parents that you are too old to be sharing a room with a toddler.
Or, you can buy a small light for reading. There are different types available. Some attach to your head.
what ? who wants to read at night ?
