2x² - 3 = -6x - 2

Adding 6x to both sides gives:

2x² + 6x - 3 = -2

Adding 2 to both sides gives:

2x² + 6x - 3 + 2 = 0

i.e. 2x² + 6x - 1 = 0...option C
