A commite of 6 is having a party. There are 70 students and 3 staff memebers. Each cake is 24 servings. How many cakes are needed?

Presuming that the committee are not included in the count of students and staff members, you need to feed 79 people.

So divide 79 by 24 and round up the nearest whole, since you likely can't buy a fraction of a cake:

79 / 24 = 3.29167

So you need 4 cakes.
