Why Do Hot Dogs Come in Packs of 10, and Buns in Packs of 8?

Yes that's annoying as heck!

This weekend I noticed the some of the premium dogs come in four packs (I think I bought Hebrew Nationals) so I grabbed two for my bag of eight buns. And then I went home and burnt two of the buns black under the broiler. Back to freakin' square one!

Who knew proper hot dog buying and preparation would require math skills and kitchen precision?

All is good if you buy 4 packs of hot dogs and 5 packs of buns.
Invite some folks over for barbecue.
