I had my chemistry class this afternoon. we had lead acetate and sodium chloride. i had some of the solutions in my hands because of the spill. i washed my hands with water (only water. no soap) the moment I arrived home, I grabbed some crackers since I was so hungry. Did I just ingest chemicals? is it dangerous?

Ingesting lead compounds can be dangerous. You should have washed the stuff off your hands immediately. However, the solutions used in school chemistry labs don't contain enough lead to do you any harm provided you don't drink the whole bottle.
