How long does it take to get out of shape now that I'm in shape?
I have had excellent cardio for about 2 months now. I have done a cardio workout at least 3 times a week and its worked out great. But now I just finished high school and I want to relax a bit, but I don't want to lose my physical endurance. So my question is: if I do absolutely zero exercise starting now, how long do I have before I start losing my physical endurance? Thanks

You start losing fitness in about 2 weeks.
A couple weeks.
As I've learned it's easier to stay in shape than it is to get in shape.
This is a personal trainer who did that to try and better understand his clients struggles better. I believe there is a reality show on it as well.

It takes around 21 days to develop a new habit (once you have a new habit, including exercising, your body aches mildly if you deviate from it). You start getting out of shape the first day you skip out on exercising because you are in the process of developing a new pattern of laziness and fatness. There really isn't a clearer answer to your question. That said, I noticed the pants I was wearing for years started to get tight about a month after I ate sloppy and stopped running daily for just 2 weeks.
