Can I shower with old water?? Help???

Basically there was some accident and the water is gone for a few hours before they finish fixing it but I have to go out. I found old containers of water and was wondering if I can use them to shower/wash my hair? They're huge 8liter plastic containers and probably have had them for 6-12 months??? Is it safe to use them to shower??

Yes. How old do you think the water coming out of the pipes is? Besides, all the water on the planet has been urine at one time or another. Now you really want to shower, don't you?

Essentially all the water on this rock is billions of years old. So go for it.
