Is there an alternative to LED screens for a tv and computer monitor? I have heard LED gives off HEV light which can damage your skin.?

Apparently this has to do with the 'backlighting'. I am hoping some tech genius on here will know if there is an alternative that does not give off HEV or blue light.

Also, are kindles ok or would they give off this light too?

I already have screen protectors but they only filter out so much.

Please help and advise.

Thank you.

Go back to the older picture tube type model, it was used in both TV and computer monitor before year 2010.

It is not going to be practical to find any agreeable options.

Older LCD screens were backlit with fluorescent tubes,
which are also sources of HEV.

CRT monitors may or may not present the same problem.
Also, it is hard to find one in good working order,
and they don't provide resolution as good as LCD or OLED screens.

The easiest and cheapest remedies are
greater distance between your eyes and the screen,
lower overall screen brightness, and less time of exposure.
