Is it possible for me to become an actor even though I have never had acting lessons?

My mom will not let me have acting lessons and lie that there is no acting classes. I have searched online and it says that there is.
I can cry on command and I can sing well (my singing teacher).
Do you think it is possible for me to have lessons from my singing teacher to give me acting lessons too because he did the 'little mermaid' musical in Japan?

Also, I got perfect score for the musical/drama at my school, which is the fantom tollbooth and I played the main character, Milo

Do what your heart tells you. If you want to do acting then find a way around your mother. If its true for you then things will work out...

No - sorry, but it's not.
If your mom won't let you attend an acting school, then you can always wait until you're an adult and can pay for your own classes.
Don't believe everything you read online.
About half the 'information on the internet is either very dubious or total nonsense.

Crying on command is only one of hundreds of skills that actors have to learn - and most actors have taken private singing lessons for years.

A singing teacher teaches singing - not acting.
And acting cannot be taught effectively one-to-one - it has to be done as part of a group - a class. That's because acting is all about reacting and interacting with others - it can't work with just a student and teacher.

School stuff is a nice, gentle start to acting, but sadly nothing more. It's at a very basic level, and no-one is really impressed by what you've done in school.

It doesn't matter when you start attending acting school, but without that, nothing is going to happen.
Be patient!

I think it is possible, if so one might need to work from the bottom up that is to say from the very beginning of an ordinary staff and gradually being promoted to actor. The most important thing one must depend on the patience of job and hard working spirits.
