Is it ok to use GPS as a delivery boy?
I found this summer job as a delivery boy but the problem is that I haven't done this before and I don't how to get to the addresses. Will it be helpful to use GPS ( specifically phone gps) . I think that a gps will help me find the way, especially since I will be using car not bike

I have known a few delivery people and they all use GPS.
Gee skippy, if cab drivers and police use them, why couldn't you use one?
Hi sounds like an excellent idea sunshine.
There is nothing inherently wrong with your idea
as long as you accept that GPS doesn't tell you
that you can't get to some places the way it tells you to get to them.
A printed map is a better idea all round,
or at least as a help for when the GPS gets something wrong.
It's a great idea. Cab drivers use it to deliver people too.

GPS is the way to go in modern times. Phones may not be the most accurate to address, but get you in the neighborhood. I would go with the best bang for the buck GPS system you can get.
Try to find a taxi today without GPS.
Firms won't hire if you don't have GPS. Definitely use one for an odd delivery you won't use it much but it broadens your horizons as you go further afield.
Hell yeah I would if I'm lost and I have my phone I would use it oh and my dad dose lol so go and use it
It should be OK unless employer requires phones to be off not just in airplane mode. Best to ask the employer.
