No. of moles of Na₂SO₄ = (0.750 mol/L) × (500/1000 L) = 0.375 mol

1 mole of Na₂SO₄ contains 6.022 × 10²³ Na₂SO₄ formula units, and 1 formula unit of Na₂SO₄ contains 2 Na⁺ ions.
No. of Na⁺ ions = 0.375 × (6.022 × 10²³) × 2 ions = 4.52 × 10²³ ions
