A chunk of CO2 sublime into a large flexible rubber balloon. The solid CO2 has a mass of 28.8g. All of the CO2 ends up in the balloon. At temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a pressure of 742 mm Hg what is the volume of the balloon?

P = (742/760) atm
V = ? L
n = (28.8 g) / [(12.01 + 16.00×2) g/mol] = (28.8/44.01) mol
R = 0.0821 atm L / (mol K)
T = (273 + 22) K = 295 K

PV = nRT
V = nRT/P

Volume, V = (28.8/44.01) × 0.0821 × 295 / (742/760) L = 16.2 L
