Breakfasts for a school trip?

Soon, I am going on a school trip and we are staying in a 1 star hotel. i have spoken to people who have been before and looked at online reviews and apparently the food is awful. I am arriving on the monday night and leaving on the friday morning and I want to take my own breakfast. What foods can I take that resemble breakfasts and that won't go mouldy without a fridge?

Not all reviews are truthful and I would stick with the free breakfast and lunch if they have it.
Most hotels have good breakfast buffets, you can choose to eat cereal, fruits, yogurts and or eggs of you choice with hashbrowns and your choice of meat to go with it.
You also can choose an omelet it they make them for the buffets, I would not waste my time dragging food along just because someone else doesn't like it.

Muffins or bagels would last pretty well. If the hotel has a continental breakfast they will probably have cream cheese for bagels. They'll also have milk and maybe juice.

just eat next door!
and save yourself the grief of carrying all that stuff, might as well save that space for healthy snacks while on the road.

Instant oatmeal in the packets. All you need is a bowl, water and microwave. The small boxes of cereal and a bowl can be breakfast. The hotel should have milk.

When you arrive, take a good look at the breakfast options- you may find that even if the choice isn't very good, there are some things you can eat, and you should give it a go before rejecting the whole thing as you have paid for it!
I travel a lot on business and have experienced some pretty rubbish breakfasts, so I tend to go down at brekkie time to see what's on offer and at the very worst there's usually some cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice, eggs, pastries or bread. I also always carry with me some fruit ( bananas, apples etc), instant porridge pots ( kettle needed but not fridge) or breakfast yoghurt pots ( will keep overnight without fridge), and bag of mixed nuts and dried fruit, and sometimes oat bars/rice cakes/crackers with a jar of peanut butter.

Dried ground cavass root. Boil in sugar water. with dried fruit. Wrap in banana leafs. This you can live a week on in a bind. Throw in a couple of salt dried fish. You have it made.
