find the magnitude and direction of the sum of the following vectors? vector A= 35 N @ 65 degrees wrt x-axis
Vector B= 10 N along x-axis?
i understand how to add vectors but this particular question has vector B with no direction so how would i find the components of that vector if it lies on the x axis?

x component of vector A = 35 cos65° N
y component of vector A = 35 sin65° N
x component of vector B = 10 N
y component of vector B = 0 N
x component of the vector sum of A and B = (10 + 35 cos65°) N
y component of the vector sum of A and B = 35 sin65° N
Magnitude of the vector sum of A and B
= √[(10 + 35 cos65°)² + (35 sin65°)] N
= 40 N
Angle between the vector sum of A and B with x-axis
= arctan[(35 sin65°) / (10 + 35 cos65°)]
= 52°
Vector B is on the X Axis, so it s angle is 0 relative to the x axis.
