我個朋友同我講"I'm going to make a grilled chicken with with basil sauce." ，之後我就問佢"What is a grilled chicken with with basil sauce." ，想問問我既回覆用到現在式有無問題。

The ptresent continuous tense shows actions are in progress now:-
eg:-I'm going to make a grilled chicken with basil(mint plant in cooking) sauce.
Your answer should be , with no problem, applying present continuous;
eg:-You are making a grilled chicken at present.
eg:-I'm going to make a grilled chicken with basil(mint plant in cooking) sauce.
