Hello,
I am about ready to take my road test, I've been told that I can't bring a Mercedes-Benz to take the test, or any other type of european car...is this true?

What do you mean by road test? Do you mean your drivers test To get your license? You can take the drivers test in any car that is legal and registered to drive in the state in which you live

False.

You can use any currently registered and insurance automobile for your behind the wheel driving test, in all US states.

You can bring any car you want as long as all the safety devices on the car a working. Horn, lights, turn signals, etc.

In the USA, you could theoretically take the test in a Bugatti Veyron as long as it has valid insurance and current registration, and all the lights, etc work. Whoever told you that you can't use a Mercedes is full of it.

Someone has been pulling your leg. If a car is legal for the road and legal for you to drive, it's perfectly legal for a licence exam.

If it's road legal, then you can bring it. The idea is that you bring a car that you're familiar with.

You can bring any road worthy and legal car you want. The car must have the parking brake easily reachable by the examiner and all parking and driving assist programs must be off.

In the U.S. foreign car brands can't be used in road tests. It's a Federal law. What other stupid questions do you have?
