Chemistry question?
A cylindrical vessel of length 50.0 cm has an internal diameter of 3.48 cm. If this vessel contains water up to a height of 18.8 cm, what is the volume of water in the vessel?
回答 (1)
Volume of water
= Volume of the cylinder that water occupies
= π r² h
≈ 3.14 × (3.48/2)² × 18.8 cm³
= 179 cm³ (to 3 sig. fig.)
