What is the best vacation spot you've ever gone to currently?

I'm an American, I've lived in three different countries, and I've traveled around the world (Central & South America, Middle East, Far East, tiny bit of Europe). My favorite vacation spot in 25+ years of world travel (starting from when I was a teenager) is New York City.

Outside of the US, it might be Hong Kong, but I might just be biased because that's where I had my honeymoon.

Jamaica, it was great.

Bahamas or California

I liked Oman. The coastal areas a nice, there is good diving and fishing and then inland is very traditional. The scenery is spectacular and the people are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is also a lot of history.

Actually most of the middle-east is full of friendly people, great scenery and incredible history. Jordan would be my second favourite country to visit.
