I don t want to go to high school because...?

I just got my 8th grade promotion yesterday and I already don t want to go. Our Jr high was only 72 kids or so. We all had a real relationship with all of our teachers. I have been going to that same school since 2nd grade so I ve had a lot of memories there and have the best friends. There are only 2 high schools so it s either one or the other. I m scared we are all gonna split up and make new friends. I don t want that. And please don t tell me ill find new friends cause I don t want to. I love all my teachers dearly. We won t have school on Fridays so we can go back to our school but I feel like they all will change. Also the guy I ve liked for 3 years is going to the opposite high school as me:(

It's scary now, and you'll have some anxious days initially, but you WILL adjust.
Change is inevitable in life, and you have to deal with it. What else are you going to do? Hide under your bed when school starts? That will not work. If you can't cope with these changes now, you will never make it in real life.
You can keep in touch with your friends and the guy you like. You just have to make a little effort. If they really mean that much to you, you will be willing to try. And keep in touch with the teachers, too. Perhaps they can offer you some advice now and then.

Typically, a junior high would feed into only one high school. Not sure why your guy friend would be gong to another.
Life is full of change. If you want to maintain your friendships, you will have to work at it.
Never heard of a junior high that includes 2nd grade.
