I don't like 'Ashleigh' because of the spelling
So NO
No.
Solely because it's dated. I know a ton of 30-40 year old Ashley's.
Also because of the spelling, she will be forever correcting people on spelling her name right. A girl I went to school with her name is Michele and she for the last 40 years has been telling people "Michele, with 1 L".
No, not at all. Its kind of trashy.
Not at all, no. Ashley, yes. Ashleigh, no.
Personally I do not like the name Ashleigh.
Ashley*
Any name containing that "Leigh\eigh" ending looks terrible
It's not awful but I don't really like it
I know you don't want to hear this but I like Ashley but hate Ashleigh.
I don't. It's a dated name. Back in the 80s and 90s a lot of girls were called Ashleigh. I don't see it making a come back anytime soon
No. Every bully I know is called Ashleigh
I don't really like it..
I wouldn't name my child Ashley but I don't think it's a terrible name
Yes, I absolutely love the name and that's exactly how I like it spelt. It's a gorgeous name, I've loved 2 names right from the start and that's Ashleigh & Daniel, I always thought whenever I have kids I would use these names, I have a 3 year old son named Daniel, would love to have another child and if the baby is a girl I will name her Ashleigh.
It's one of those annoying names that people will constantly spell wrong.
Spelled like that no. It looks kind of like Ash layyyyyy
Not really, I hate the spelling.
No. I find the spelling hideous and the name itself just average.
No. I'm not a fan of the name.
I don't like it because of the spelling it seems over the top spoilt and eccentric
Ashleigh is a "real" spelling of the name, so I'm not sure why that would be an issue. It's not my favorite, mainly because it was popular when I was younger - but it's not a bad name and the nicknames are cute (Ash, Leigh, etc.).
Originally the name was Asher! It was a male biblical name! He was one of the sons of Jacob!
In recent generations this name has been misused and has become Ashley, Ashleigh, and some how it has ended up a female name too! Basically it was a male hebrew name!
My name is Ashley. It's meh, I guess. Not a fan of the -leigh spelling.
Nope. Not at all. Regardless of spelling it's a tacky name.
Not my first choice, but 'possibly' as a middle name
Ashley sounds better and is much easier to spell.
Not really sounds like someone got burnt, then want to be girlie about being burnt.
I like it personally, but I think if you like it, then you shouldn't worry whether we like it or not ☺️
Well, why are you asking us idiots if you only like ashliegh
I do, I mean, it is my name. I don't like that spelling though. Its a unisex name too.
I love it and especially spelled that way!
I do but it's too common! Maybe as a middle name!
Yes! Ashleigh is a gorgeous name. I especially love the spelling of it since My friend's daughters name is ''Ashleigh''
Yes! Ashleigh is a gorgeous name.
Yes. My cousin is called Ashleigh Rose
Yes! Ashleigh is a gorgeous name. I especially love the spelling of it.
I only like the name because of the way you spelled it. I personally wouldn't name my child it but it is kind of nice. It really depends on the person.
I personally don't like the spelling. It makes it sound like "Ash-lay" instead of "Ash-ley", which doesn't make sense to me if you're pronouncing it the same.
I think it is nice. :)
However keep in mind there are lots of other names available. :)
All the best,
I like it, but it is very "generic" and I know 1 too many Ashleigh/Ashley's.
I like it but I wouldn't name my daughter this because it's way too over used. I like the spelling Ashlee.
No, when I think of an Ashley, I think of those straight blond hair, fake tans, and obsessed with shopping girls.
Not spelled that way. But its prettier spelled Ashley.
Yes, if your gonna change the spelling don't change it to Ashley (ew) if you wanna change it, change it to either ashlie or ashlee xx
Awesome name. Because a name doesn't make a man popular but man can popular his/her name.
it's a pretty name but I would not give it to my kid.
I like it! I have Leigh in my name and correcting spelling really isn t that big a deal
yes looks like a beautiful name to me.
No. Not the sound, not the meaning, not how overused it's been. Just being honest.
It is a very common name but I still like it and that spelling of it.
I love the name and I love your spelling.
YAH REMINDS ME OF MY PET GOLDFISH
Yes This is cute..............
Yes, I love this name as this is unique!
it's ok but when i grew up it was a boys name
I think the name is very pretty, but my boyfriend's step-cousin or step-aunt or whoever she is (her mom got married to his stepmom's dad, but she's younger than him), has that name and from what I see, she seems obxinous. It's really your decision, but go right ahead if you want!
If it's pronounced the same then yes.
I like the sound of it, but I think a lot of people (including me) read it as "ash - LAY" when we first see it. So I guess I generally like it. :)
It's ok just seems to be a popular name here
No, I am not a fan. Too masculine for a girl and I know a lot of teen mums naming their daughters Ashleigh, Kayleigh, Ryleigh etc...
Not beautiful or feminine for a girl. Sorry if I offended! Personal opinion
over used in the 80's 90's not for me but that is the only spelling I would use
Yes a good name - in any case it is your baby who are wee to tell you what name to call the child
It's not a bad name compared to all the crazy names out there that parents give these days.
I like it and I much prefer the spelling "Ashleigh" to "Ashley" or anything else tbh.
Yes, and one of the women I was most attracted to in life had that name.
I like it I like how it's spelled because you don't see that too often and different is always better
Love it and the -Leigh ending is fine for this name, it's pretty common actually
I like how unique the spelling is but I'm not so set on the name.
I like it, and the more I think bout it , I love it. Honesty I was confused at first, I didnt know what I was reading( a little slow :( lol & not use to seeing it spelled that way ) the retards, ugh alittle like myself, will try and say it wrong.... lol I had to look at the other comments to catch on smh, but then when I did, I realize its not you its me. Lol so thats how you should go about it for the nah sbecauseif they cant read, thats their problen. Lol but no that is so different and cool, and you should do it! I was worried about may sons name and its spelling, but I just did it because you know what, when you found the right name, you know it because you second guess yourself but then, you keep going back to it and cant leave it alone.
