Get expanding foamy off clothes?

That stuff doesn't come off. I know. I've tried everything. Eventually I found something that would eat it but it ate the clothing too.

You might try a product, I think it's called diff. It's used to soften wall paper glue. It's doesn't hurt the paper so I don't think it will harm closing.

Try baby oil.
