A English tense problem?

我已發明了一個系統去解決一個問題，我想向我朋友講講個系統點樣運作。我宜家同我朋友講"Let me tell you how the system works." ，想問問這句既時態在這個case 有無用錯。

你用tell係廣東話，用show比較英文

For probability and intention case, present continuous tense can be used:-
eg:-I am going to show you how the working system works.
eg:-I am going to show you how the working system works.
