Hen not moving?
I let my hens out of the coop this morning and it is now the afternoon and I realized one of them had not left the coop. I went over and opened it and looked at her and she is sitting down not moving and staring at me and when I put my hand towards her she makes a very strange sqwaking sound that I have never heard her make before. She just began laying eggs a few months ago so she is pretty young. I am too scared to touch her because I cannot tell if she is hurt or angry or what. Any ideas on what could be wrong and what I could do to help her?!?!? Thanks!!!

She's most likely egg bound, and she will die if you don't get her medical help immediately! Take her to an emergency vet immediately! They have to remove the egg. You can try to see if you see the egg inside of her by picking her up (use a blanket and secure her in it), holding her tightly against your chest under one arm and with your other hand looking at her vent. If you do see the egg get some vegetable oil and rub it gently all around her vent and all around the egg, and using only one finger with some oil on it see if you can very lightly move the egg at all. But you can't just grab it and pull, you'll tear her and she can bleed to death. If you can't get it out or it's up in the canal too far, or you don't see it you must take her to an emergency vet right now!!! She will most likely be dead by tomorrow if you don't.
I have 5 hens myself and one has done this to. What was worng was she had an egg stuck! If you can I would look and see if you see anything if not you should take her to a vet as the egg it suck to far up. If she is new to laying eggs this can be a fairly common thing to happen
