Audio device not found on HP Pavilion g4. Any help?

2 days back, I started my laptop and found out that my speakers weren't working. My audio driver cannot detect any audio output device that I plug in, like headphones. Later, i downloaded Realtek audio driver, then conexant and IDT HD driver, but none seem to be able to detect my built-in speaker. I tried reinstalling the driver and checking if Windows Audio is enabled in Services, and everything is enabled, but my speakers still don't work. I get an error(windows cannot initialize the driver-code 37). Any suggestions??

Try the following:
Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

If you have a 64-bit Windows version, ensure that your device driver is properly digitally signed for a 64-bit operating system. If in doubt, contact your device manufacturer.

Try searching for “code 37” and your hardware type, name, or model number on the Microsoft support site (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=538). For example, for code 37 issues with a smartcard reader, search for “code 37” smartcard.

Contact your device manufacturer for the latest information about using the device with the Windows operating system version that you have.
