Should I send letters to the guys who bullied me when I was a schoolkid? They tortured me verbally and ruined my self-esteem.?

I was bullied many years ago as a school kid. It left long-lasting mental scars on me, and I think it's part of the reason I've carried anger and frustration for so many years. Does it make sense for me to vent to the people who bullied me (via letter)? I only remember names of a couple of guys. So I can only contact them. Would they just think it would seem crazy of me to want to reduce my anger after 40+ years?

You aren't going to get the reaction you hope for.... they are likely just big bullies now and would send you back a nasty letter.... or maybe even show up at your house.... if you are hoping for an apology you aren't likely to get one. Nasty children grow up to be Trump supporters....

They probably wouldn't even remember you. But do it if it makes you feel better. -----------
Better yet, forgive these imbiciles. They don't deserve it but you need the peace it will bring.

Those people could care less about how you feel. They are scum. Don't have anything to do with them.

By all means write the letters, but I don't recommend you send them. Perhaps counselling can help you heal a little as well? I know how you feel, I was severely bullied when I was a child as well. I hope you can move on from this.
