McDonald's and Burger King are selling chicken sandwich.

Maybe KFC, Popeyes can sell some country fried steak sandwich...

They don't sell beef because their theme is chicken. Thus the name, Kentucky fried CHICKEN.

I'd assume it's because the name is Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Popeyes is Popeyes Chicken.

Because they don't want to.

Probably b/c their chicken sells so much better. If no one buys the beef items much, maybe they'd actually lose money? Not sure.

Many years ago they tried selling beef with restaurants called Kentucky Roast Beef, at the same time they tried some fried fish restaurants. These didn't work out and they ended up going back to just chicken.

Because McDonald's and Burger King are fast FOOD restaurants. KFC and Popeyes are a chicken place.

McDonalds can sell grilled and fried chicken sandwiches because they already have grills and frying vats in their restaurants. KFC doesn't have grills, and it would be very expensive for them to install them.
