How to stop my seat belt alarm?

First off, no i do not want to encourage people to not wear theirs. I don't mind wearing mine in other cars, but my cars belt digs into my body and usually ends up giving me a rash or a sort of burn. I have a 13 corolla S, and any help would be great!

Try what I've done. Get a seal belt extender ( for big folks) it totally changes how the belt rides.

Go to your local scrap yard, buy an old buckle, slip it into your seat belt catch.

Other than that just do the belt up and sit on it.

But don't come running here crying when your face looks like 5lb of mince meat after kissing the screen when your car stops suddenly and you don't.

Sell the car and buy one that doesn't bother you as much.

Or just keep the car parked and don't drive it anywhere -- which is what would have to happen anyway if you do stop the alarm.

The seat belt alarm is considered safety equipment. If you disconnect or disable any of the safety equipment on the car, then it is against the law to drive it.

Buckle the belt, THEN get in the car!

you can find a seatbelt cushion/ padding thing at auto parts stores. Its like a padded sleeve that wraps around it. I dont recommend driving without a seat belt, bro.
