Wearing clothes and scabby tattoo?

It is ok to loosely wrap it up, ideally with the cling film and nothing with a cotton feel as this will just pull the scabs off. Apply the cling film right after you apply the lotion.

If poss then don't wear anything over it - ideal for legs (shorts) and arms (short sleeves)

What part of your body is the tattoo on? As a general rule, you can cover up with loose-fitting clothes (sweats, silk shirts, light button-ups, etc.). Also, whatever you use to cover it, the first thing directly on top of your tattoo should be a hydrating protective ointment, then saran wrap or its equivalent held in place by cotton sports tape or another kind of tape that won't come off after you sweat.
