got some change thought it looked odd then realised it said new pence on 3 ten pence coins one from 1976 one from 1969 and one 1968 value?

They aren't extremely rare, plus they've been in circulation so they probably don't have much value beyond their stated value of 10p. Check around, but you might be able to get about double their value if you can find a buyer. Hardly worth dealing with though.
